Remnants
Empty and unused, the barn remains standing - encircled by a dusty driveway once ran down by children aching to catch the bus in the early morning hours. Many older people carry mementos of their past active lives into their declining years. Some of the remnants are physical reminders while many others are simply memories that adorn the hallways of their minds.
